Mary Luebkeman

Our very last Riley Kid of the week for this marathon year is Mary Luebkeman. Mary is a sophomore at Purdue with plans to go to Pharmacy school! Mary is from Indianapolis, Indiana.

Mary joined PUDM because she knew about dance marathons in high school and wanted to keep raising money in college for Riley Kids. Mary joined PUDM last year as a Spvents CM and then applied to be a part of Chamber! Mary is currently a legacy chair!

Mary was diagnosed with scoliosis in middle school, and attended Riley regularly to watch the progression of her spine. During high school, she had to have a spinal fusion surgery to straighten her spine. She had a backwards S spine with two curves at about 50 degrees each.

Mary loves all things Gilmore Girls, mint chocolate chip ice cream, and Taylor Swift. If she could only eat at one restaurant for the rest of her life, she would choose Cracker Barrel.

A note from the Legacy Executive; “Mary is such an amazing part of the legacy team! She goes above and beyond in her position as Legacy Operations Chair in PUDM. She has such a big heart for our legacies and our Riley kiddos. Her passion, dedication, and compassion shines through everything she does. I absolutely love seeing her sharing our legacies stories’, spreading awareness for childhood illnesses, and educating people about the critical work that Riley does for kids and their families. I’m so fortunate to call her my friend and I am beyond grateful for her support and encouragement.”

We love you Mary! Thank you for all the love you give PUDM!
