Kendall DeVault
Our Riley Kid of the Week is Kendall DeVault! Kendall is a Junior at Purdue. Kendall is from West Lafayette, Indiana.
Kendall joined PUDM because she wanted to give back to an amazing cause that was personal to her! She loves reading, hanging out with friends, and watching scary movies! Her favorite sweet treat is a good chocolate cake with raspberries on top!
Kendall went to Riley after an unsuccessful surgery to fix her tethered spinal cord. There, she saw two specialists, a neurosurgeon and an orthopedic surgeon, who ran tests on her and pointed her to her next direction of treatment. Although her stay at Riley was short lived, they were a key part of her journey in figuring out what was wrong with her back!
Kendall has been a Morale member throughout her PUDM experience. A note from her Morale family; “Kendall is one of our most active and involved CMs! She inspires everyone around her at all times and is always bringing positivity and kindness. She is a natural leader and a light for her fellow CMs! Kendall’s story inspires all of us on Morale to keep doing what we do and we are so thankful to have her!”
Thank you for sharing your story, Kendall! We are so lucky to learn from you!
