Braylie Kellogg
“Doesn’t matter what others think. You are enough.” -Braylie Kellogg
Braylie was known for her goofiness, big heart, and beautiful smile. Her laughter could light up a room, as it radiated to everyone she met. When Braylie was almost 4 years old, she was diagnosed with stage 4 Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma. She persevered through 46 weeks of chemo and 6 weeks of daily radiation to remove a large tumor on her abdomen. She was officially declared cancer free for 10 years until another tumor was found on her spine in 2021. This time it was osteosarcoma. Once again, Braylie pushed through 13 weeks of chemo and two major surgeries at Riley Hospital for Children. She was discharged on her 16th birthday on hospice care and was cancer free. However, Braylie passed away due to complications from surgery and the cancer treatments she received as a toddler. Braylie dreamed of attending Purdue to become an oncologist and help other kids with cancer. She loved animals, especially sheep, and was an active 4-H member. She played basketball and softball for Rossville High School. Braylie will always be remembered as courageous, loving, selfless, and genuinely kind. Her father described her as not having “an ounce of quit in her.” #BraylieStrong
