Dance Marathons hold a very special place in my heart. From being involved throughout high school, I knew I couldn’t stop pursuing my passion of helping others once I got to college, so I got involved with PUDM. With the encouragement I received to pursue a VP position last year, I knew it was an amazing opportunity to boost the involvement and impact I have in an organization that is so important to me! After seeing the impact I could make after a year on exec, I knew I had to remain in a position where my personal strengths could aid in creating a brighter future for this organization and our kiddos!
What is your previous PUDM involvement?
Fundraising Committee Member, Fundraising Chair, Vice President of Finance
What is your favorite PUDM memory?
There are so many good experiences that have happened because of PUDM that it’s hard to pinpoint just one. However, one of my most proud moments from this past year was Miracle Madness 2025. This was my very first push day as VPF and I was so nervous going into it. I wanted it to be perfect and go exactly as planned. The week started off great, but during the Hype Room that Wednesday, nothing could have gone better. I had an amazing exec team behind me that helped keep the moment and energy up all day long. This day led to such a great push in culture and fundraising, broken records, and such high morale to finish out the spring. MM 2025 gave me the confidence to continue growing in my role!
What is a fun fact about you?
I’m an aunt!
Whats your biggest dream? (Career goal, travel, bucket list, impact on the world, etc.)
I hope someday to be remembered for the positive and kind impact I had on others. I will know I have succeeded at the end of my life if I have made a positive impact on even one person’s life. Overall, I want to show love and joy. I look to Mother Teresa most as an example of someone who did this so well. One thing she said that is a perfect reminder of this was “Let us always meet each other with a smile, for a smile is the beginning of love.”
What are your main duties as an exec?
As VPI, I get to oversee planning of the marathon! I also lead the Logistics, Special Events, Morale, Legacy, and Riley Relations execs and help bring their ideas to life!
I wanted to further my leadership in an organization where you are surround by the kindest friends, bravest families, and the best kiddos! PUDM is my home away from home and I want everyone to experience how amazing this organization is. I strive to make a difference in so many people’s lives and continue furthering PUDM’s legacy!
What is your previous PUDM involvement?
Riley R CM, Family Captain, and Riley R Exec
What is your favorite PUDM memory?
Staying all 24 hours at the bell tower on DOM with my best friend I met through PUDM or seeing all the smiles and spending time with the kiddos at the 2025 marathon!
What is a fun fact about you?
I love to run!
Whats your biggest dream? (Career goal, travel, bucket list, impact on the world, etc.)
To work at Riley as an oncology nurse! I want to continue advocating for the kiddos at Riley even after I am done with PUDM! I hope to be a light in their lives, just like our Riley kiddos have been in mine 🙂
What are your main duties as an exec?
I oversee our executive board and chamber while working alongside my VPs to ensure our organization keeps going in the right direction! I have a hand in every aspect of PUDM, while also supporting our team to execute all of the amazing things we do throughout the year. I am so grateful to work in so many different areas and people!
When I was a chair last year, I fell in love with the community PUDM can provide. There are so many people with different backgrounds, disciplines, and stories, who all unite for a common cause. I wanted to give back to the community I find so unique while furthering my commitment within it. As for membership, I love all things people. And, the aspects of our membership focus are so new. There’s so much room for growth, and I wanted to be a part of that!
What is your previous PUDM involvement?
I was a Morale Committee Member and the DEI Chair.
What is your favorite PUDM memory?
The very first Tomorrow Needs You concert! Mental health awareness is so so so important to me. I’m also from Zionsville, so seeing Tate added as our 6th legacy was surreal. And music will always be integral to my life. So it was a meaningful event. Everyone fought so hard for this to happen. The rush I felt as we built up to it was unmatched. It was truly one of the most special moments of my college experience, and I will remember it forever.
What is a fun fact about you?
I have a black belt in karate!
Whats your biggest dream? (Career goal, travel, bucket list, impact on the world, etc.)
My dream is to advocate for children for the rest of my life.
What are your main duties as an exec?
I oversee the Membership focus (Mental Health, DEI, Alumni Relations, Stewardship, and Marathon Relations)! I’m also involved in planning meetings and retreats, developing committee culture and stewardship, assisting with fundraising pushes, and organizing and running the new member program. Pretty much all things people-oriented!
