Jayzen Oppelt-Clemons

Jayzen Oppelt-Clemons is 13 years old. He is originally from Frankfort, but has lived in Lafayette for the past 6 years.

Jayzen’s white matter wasn’t fully developed in his brain. His family told that he might not ever walk, but after years of therapy he now runs and plays basketball. He also has ADHD, anxiety, and Tourette Syndrome. He continues to see lots of doctors at Riley and also has therapy there.

Jayzen’s family loves hearing other Riley families’ stories and meeting all the amazing Purdue students. He was also a 2023 Riley Champion! He loves all things basketball, video games, and attending sporting events. If he had a billion dollars he would donate to Riley, help people in need, give his family money, buy a house and car, and then buy all the Jordan shoes in the world!
